Community Visit in Roche, Near Hinche
On January 2, the Evens Brutus Foundation visited Roche, a locality near Hinche, as part of our ongoing commitment to supporting children in underserved communities.
During this visit, our team distributed school supplies, hygiene items, and other essential materials to children in the community. These resources help children continue their education with dignity while promoting basic health and well-being.
We also observed the urgent educational challenges facing this community. Roche has only one school, where multiple grade levels are combined into a single classroom, taught by one teacher. Despite these limitations, the children remain eager to learn.
Because of this reality, the Evens Brutus Foundation is committed to continued support in this area. Our long-term goal is to strengthen access to education by providing ongoing school supplies, educational support, and future program development, in collaboration with local leaders and educators.
Thanks to the generosity of our donors and partners, we are able to move beyond short-term assistance and work toward sustainable, community-driven solutions for children in Roche and surrounding areas.
Honoring Haiti’s Independence Through Service
On January 1st, Haiti’s Independence Day, the Evens Brutus Foundation began the new year by turning purpose into action.
Our team visited Serca Cadet, near Hinche, to distribute school supplies, hygiene items, and small treats to children we support through our education and community programs. Starting the year this way reflects who we are a foundation committed not only to short-term relief, but to long-term impact and consistent presence.

Today was a beautiful reminder of why we serve.
On Sunday, December 21, the Evens Brutus Foundation proudly hosted our Christmas Toy Distribution, bringing joy, hope, and smiles to children and families in our community.

🌟 A Powerful Step Forward for Education in Cassoire, Hinche
This week, the Evens Brutus Foundation visited the Bon Samaritain Community School in Cassoire (Nan Roche), Hinche a small community where children’s dreams are greater than their resources.
Led by Mr Bidry, these classrooms are filled with bright, eager students who show up every day despite extreme poverty, lack of materials, and difficult conditions.And yet… their determination is extraordinary.
Our visit, carried out by Mr Thony Kerbens Joseph, our Haiti Field Director, reminded us why this mission matters so deeply:

Day 2 Community Clean-Up & Erosion Protection in Regalis, Haiti
The Evens Brutus Foundation continues to stand beside the children and families of Regalis as we educate, empower, and build a cleaner, stronger community.
Today, under the leadership of Pastor Junior Louimé, the children participated in a hands-on community clean-up and environmental activity.
Together, they removed waste, cleared the rural pathways, and built small rock barriers (barrage de pierres) to help stop erosion during heavy rains.

Day 1 Children’s Rights & Community Responsibility Seminar (Led by Pastor Junior Louime) Regalis, Haiti
Yesterday, November 26, 2025, we successfully launched Day 1 of our 3-Day Children’s Rights & Community Responsibility Seminar in Regalis, Haiti, led by Pastor Junior Louime.
During today’s session, the children learned:
Their basic rights (education, safety, health, respect)
Their responsibilities at home, in school, and in the community
How to communicate respectfully
The value of teamwork, kindness, and positive leadership
The children participated in group discussions, learning circles, and interactive activities.
We ended the day with a snack distribution and encouragement for the next two days of learning.

Community Outreach Visit Fantino, Dominican Republic (November 12, 2025)
On November 12, 2025, the Evens Brutus Foundation conducted an important community visit in Fantino, Dominican Republic, as part of our commitment to expand support for vulnerable Haitian and Dominican families living in rural areas.
Our Founder, Evens Brutus, together with our Dominican Republic representative, Pastor & Lawyer Carlos Ulloa, met with local families to assess living conditions and identify the most urgent needs, including food assistance, home repairs, clothing, and basic supplies.
During this visit, the Foundation provided small donations and began planning a long-term support strategy for the area. Many families in Fantino face significant social and economic challenges, and this visit helped us understand how we can best serve them through sustainable, community-centered programs.

On November 15, 2025, our Dominican Republic representative, Pastor Carlos Ulloa, continued advancing our mission through impactful community outreach. Pastor Carlos, who leads a legally incorporated nonprofit organization in the Dominican Republic, facilitated a marriage formation seminar aimed at strengthening families and promoting stability within vulnerable communities.
During this gathering, he also helped distribute donated pens and educational materials provided through our valued partner NAEIR.org. These resources support children, families, and local leaders who lack basic supplies, allowing them to participate more fully in educational and community-building activities.

On Thursday, November 13, 2025, the Evens Brutus Foundation, represented on the ground by our Haiti Director Joseph Kerbens Thony, visited the Institution Mixte Berceau du Savoir de Quépon in the Second Section of Marmont, Commune of Hinche.
This visit marks an important step in our mission to expand support to underserved rural communities in Haiti. Director Thony met with students and teachers, assessed the school environment, and identified the most urgent needs, including school supplies, classroom materials, seating, and structural improvements.
Despite facing serious economic challenges, the students of this community show remarkable motivation and a strong desire to learn. Our foundation is committed to helping remove the barriers that prevent these children from accessing quality education.

On November 10, 2025, our Haiti Director, Thony Kerbens Joseph, conducted an educational follow-up visit at Institution Moderne Nouvelle Création, one of our partner schools located in Cerca Cadette, 2nd section Marmont, in the commune of Hinche.
Through this partnership, the Evens Brutus Foundation currently supports over 50 students in this remote community by providing school tuition, materials, and educational follow-up. This support allows vulnerable children to continue their studies in safe and favorable learning conditions.
This visit strengthens our commitment to improving access to education and working closely with local educators to empower Haiti’s next generation.

The Evens Brutus Foundation is proud to announce the launch of a new outreach initiative in Régalus, a rural mountain community located several hours by foot from Hinche, Haiti.
This expansion reflects our unwavering mission to reach underserved populations in remote areas where children and families lack access to essential resources such as food, education, hygiene, and health support.
Why Régalus?
Régalus is a deeply marginalized village with no formal schools, limited infrastructure, and urgent needs for food, water, and educational assistance. Due to its isolation, residents often travel long distances by foot to access even the most basic services.
After months of coordination and community engagement, we’ve partnered with Église Bethel de Régalus and Pastor Junior Louime, a trusted leader who is deeply invested in the well-being of the community. With his local insight and commitment, this partnership is helping us create lasting impact from within.

✨ Building Confidence, Building Futures✨
On September 29, 2025, our Haiti Director, Joseph Kerbens Tony, spent time with the children we sponsor, leading a powerful session on developing self-esteem. Under the shade of a mango tree, the kids gathered to learn, laugh, and grow together discovering their worth, their potential, and their voices.
Alongside him, Ms. Dieuna, one of our dedicated foundation members, shared encouragement and joy with the children reminding them that they are loved, valued, and capable of great things. 💙
At the Evens Brutus Foundation, we believe that education is more than books and lessons. It’s also about nurturing confidence, dignity, and hope in every child. Activities like these give our children the courage to dream and the strength to believe in themselves, despite the challenges they face daily.
