Community Visit in Roche, Near Hinche

On January 2, the Evens Brutus Foundation visited Roche, a locality near Hinche, as part of our ongoing commitment to supporting children in underserved communities.

During this visit, our team distributed school supplies, hygiene items, and other essential materials to children in the community. These resources help children continue their education with dignity while promoting basic health and well-being.

We also observed the urgent educational challenges facing this community. Roche has only one school, where multiple grade levels are combined into a single classroom, taught by one teacher. Despite these limitations, the children remain eager to learn.

Because of this reality, the Evens Brutus Foundation is committed to continued support in this area. Our long-term goal is to strengthen access to education by providing ongoing school supplies, educational support, and future program development, in collaboration with local leaders and educators.

Thanks to the generosity of our donors and partners, we are able to move beyond short-term assistance and work toward sustainable, community-driven solutions for children in Roche and surrounding areas.
